SYNOPSIS:
Belus, a sharp and sly professional criminal has a talent for picking his partners in crime and evading the police. He has plans to rob the daily takings in a department store. To test the loyalty of his companions he discusses a phony robbery plan with them, hoping to find out who might spill the beans when the real thing takes place. Each of his fellow criminals gets the name of a different fence. Soon plainclothes bust one them. The guy who told his name is brutally punished. Meanwhile, a duo of police inspectors blackmail a student – he is guilty of some past misdemeanor known only to them -- into gaining the trust of Belus and informing about his plans. The guy obeys. He finds out all about the planned armed robbery. A trap is set up for the cunning Belus.
